…so I came up with ‘septets’ after a hard listen to Beethoven’s string quartet in c sharp minor (opus 131)—which he divided into seven sublime and ambiguous movements with many variations—like the seven cardinal sins—like seven, which happens to be a lovely number with a thick belly—and so, this is what I’ve come up with—three, one, three—seven…
